Hey! My name is Aleks Bleck and I have been investing into P2P-Lending since 2017 and have built a P2P portfolio of more than 52.000€ earning me 300€ in monthly passive income. In this article I want to tell you about my investing journey on LANDE and why I keep investing more. You can read my full experience, the positives and negatives here.
I started investing on Lande with €500 on October the 5th of 2022. So that’s my two year anniversary of investing in agricultural loans! And I have to say so far it’s been going great with returns of 8 to 11% yearly.
In that time, I’ve built a portfolio of €7122 with rate of return of 8% already this year - not accounting for the last three months of the year! So my real return at the end of year is likely to be higher. If you want to earn more, LANDE currently offers 3% instant cashback in October.
I started investing with the simple auto invest of €50 and just buying every project available. This wasn’t much of a strategy, but the advanced auto invest didn’t exist yet so that’s what I had to resort to in the end though, it turned out very well already with a double digit return in 2023.
Today I have a Auto-Invest that buys everything with the highest interest rates of 12% and more, I don’t really care about the duration and the LTV can also be up to 60% as I have made the experience that LANDE is performing very well in collections, even when they take longer than expected and they don’t overvalue collateral! That’s really a key aspect why I keep investing more.
The schedule type is also not that important to me and I have also been investing a lot into the new market of Romania as those projects also seem to be going very well. In September 2024 I had a cash flow of €46.64 and I am very happy with that, that’s roughly 1/6 of the €300 that I earn monthly and passive income from P2P-Lending.
But let’s talk about the defaults as well! I have invested into 148 loans and only four of those are in default as of today. three of those defaulted loans are from Latvia, one is from Romania. I appreciate the monthly updates on this, and I am sure this default will be recovered as well as the pledge behind every one of those loans are either cattle or machines, which can be sold at appropriate market prices.
Compared to my overall investment in P2P-Lending, LANDE makes up 13.4% of my total investment into P2P-Lending, but is one of the investments I want to increase as the higher rate of return does not seem to be directly correlated with a higher risk compared to other offers - at least that’s how I see it after investing here for two years!
