We have wonderful news: On February 7th, 2024, the Supervision Committee of Latvijas Banka decided to issue the Crowdfunding Services Authorization to the LANDE Platform! 

The decision is pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2020/1503 and it gives LANDE full rights to facilitate the granting of loans to agricultural businesses as well as provide related additional services, including managing individual investor portfolios, using a bulletin board, applying credit scores to published projects, and suggesting the pricing and/or interest rates of crowdfunding offers. 

“We are proud and grateful to have received the authorization after all the hard work put in by our entire team in recent months,” said LANDE CEO Nikita Goncars. “This license energizes us to continue our mission of improving access to finance for small and medium EU farmers while generating great opportunities for investors. We've already financed projects worth €20 million and generated €1 million in profit for our investors and, with an ever-growing community, we're ready to significantly expand our reach.” 

The Crowdfunding license holds pan-European validity, enabling LANDE to offer its services across the European Union. While already operating on the Latvian, Lithuanian, and Romanian markets, LANDE has set its sights on further expansion, aiming to cultivate even more fertile ground for agricultural growth across the continent.

Our goal is to empower farmers to become drivers of sustainable development in their communities, while connecting investors with varied backgrounds to this mission and giving them a stake in the development of the agricultural sector.
