This project gives LANDE investors an opportunity to provide funding in the amount of € 14 500 for a Self-employed farmer to receive a loan for working capital.

This project gives an opportunity to make a loan with an annual rate of 10%, LTV of 9%, and a loan term of 1 months. The Loan and the interest for the Loan use for all the period of its use are repaid by one payment on the last day of the Loan maturity term.

The borrower is a cattle farming and crop farming farmer and manages 500 ha of arable land. Financial results in 2022 were: revenue € 466 137.

In order to secure the repayment of the loan, the borrower has concluded an agreement of 198 livestock animals. The average cattle price in Latvia is € 850, making the total value of collateral € 168 300. First-hand commercial pledge on all borrower’s assets will be registered in the Latvian Enterprise Register.

The borrower aims to repay the loan from incoming business revenues.

The borrower is a recipient of support payments from the European Agricultural Guarantee Fund and the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development.
